What makes us one of the leading providers of homecare services in the North West?
Our Team Experience, training and qualifications. But above all else, a passion for care.
We are the biggest care provider in Merseyside, currently employing over 300 qualified Social Care Workers.
Our Care Staff
All carers at MCJA are subject to reference and DBS checks before they commence work with the company. Staff are fully trained in mandatory courses which cover:
- Moving and Handling
- Health and Safety
- Food Hygiene
- Protection of Vulnerable Adults
- First Aid
In addition, the company also provides training on Medication, Dementia Awareness and Palliative Care.
The care staff employed by MerseyCare Julie Ann are, above all, very experienced workers and have the appropriate skills, training and qualifications to support each individual client.
We achieve this by…
- Ensuring communication is both timely and consistent to our service users
- Ensuring the service is appropriate to each individual service user
- Ensuring staff receive appropriate training on diversity issues
- Ensuring procedures are in place which clearly state the company’s position in relation to equality and diversity issues
Our care planning process will identify and acknowledge individual service user backgrounds and beliefs. Initial care plans produced by our Review and Assessment Team will identify any specific needs of a service user related to their age, disability, gender, race, religion and sexual orientation.

This involves the submission of referrals to the Local Authority, whenever we become aware of concerns about the safety of service users and put things right. Whether you are a service user, relative, agent, volunteer, trade contract, etc. we want to know of ANY concerns you may have!
